5. Tree Pose (Vrksasana)

Tree Pose is a balancing pose that strengthens the legs while stretching the inner thighs, groin, and shoulders. Stand tall, shift your weight onto one leg, and place the sole of the other foot on the inner thigh or calf of the standing leg. Bring your hands to a prayer position at your heart or extend them overhead.
